An accessory handset for Uniden's DCT75 series phone systems, the DCX750 offers the same excellent range of functions you appreciate in the base. Once the handset is recognized by the system, you can review features like Call Waiting Caller ID, which includes a 100-station memory (with subscription to local service) that allows names and numbers to be transferred between handsets or moved into the permanent 10-station speed dial. DirectLink two-way radio communication is built into each handset, allowing them to function as an in-home intercom system or baby monitor.

You can transfer incoming calls between each handset and speakerphone on the base, and make use of the convenient hands-free design by using the included belt clip and built-in headset jack (headsets available separately). Easily adjust handset and ringer volume levels to your comfort, and set the handset LCD menu to one of three menu languages (English, French, or Spanish). A page button lets you quickly locate the handset if it's strayed under the couch cushions. Redial any of the last three called numbers at the touch of a button, activate three-way calls or just enjoy the consistent clarity of the 2.4 GHz digital signal transmission.

This handset requires the use of a compatible Uniden DCT75-series phone. Most in the series are expandable up to a total of four handsets. Uniden provides a one-year warranty covering parts and service.

  Overall, the product is great. Although the buttons are not in the most convenient places and it's not as easy to review and delete Caller ID names then most other cordless phones I've had before (particularly the Vtech series), there are many more features to boast on this unit. It's nice to be able to "tag" different rings to certain numbers, it allows you to tell who's calling prior to even viewing the Caller ID names....more info
• Excellent phone
  I bought 2 of these handsets to go with the baseunit I already had. The speaker phone function is great (very clear, and can pick up conversation from across the room), my wife and I can use it to sit together or move about the room while chatting with family. Also, the fact that only the baseunit needs a phone cord makes this a great phone for internet phone users (VOIP). One phone in the kitchen, another in the bedroom, and the baseunit in the living room with the cable modem.
  NOTE: this phone will work perfectly with normal phone service as well.
  Finally, the phone has a useful intercom function, where you can page a specific phone (or all of them), and talk to them through the phone (works well if you are working in the back yard and your wife needs to reach you)....more info

  I was able to register the handset to a DCT-648 base and transfer the phone book from a DCX-640 handset without any problems. A Bargain....more info

  I love this phone! I was able to get rid of my intercomes thoughout the house now that I have this system. Phone works great, clear screen and lots of memeory. I would but it again. No problems as of yet, have had 3 cells for about 1 year and now purchased another unit. (4 handsets in all)...more info

• Nice Phone, Very Poor Support
  This phone is a add on to an existing Uniden cordless phone system at my house. I wanted to import to the new handset the telephone numbers already stored in my original Uniden cordless phone system. I sent several emails to Uniden customer support on how to move my stored telephone numbers into the new handset. Uniden still has not given me the instructions and I requested help about 2 weeks ago. I'm still waiting and don't have much expectation that Uniden will come through with the instructions....more info

  The handset has worked as specified. I am using it with an internet phone service (voip). It has all the features one could ask for. It has proven simple to program. The only concern is how it will work when I start using wireless computer access which is in the same frequency range....more info

• Only 1 of 2 handsets worked
  I purchased 2 handsets of this model, charged the batteries according to spec, and then tried to register them with the base unit. Only 1 would register, the other never did.
  
  I tried to contact the seller, but no response. I bought these 2 replacement handsets because of problems with 2 of the original 3, purchased over 1 year ago. I have since disconnected the Uniden system, and purchased an vtech unit, which I am much more pleased with....more info

  I was very happy with the two handsets/chargers I purchased that were not exactly the same as my original set but were compatible. They have worked fine and now I have a set of four cordless phones. Could not find them in any local store so Amazon came to my rescue!...more info

• Backward compatible with DCT640
  I have a DCT640 and my one year old tossed one of the phones in the toilet. The LCD never worked again on it, and they do not make DCX640 any more. I ordered one of these and it worked! The phone book would not transfer, but everything else worked fine. Even the the old charger works with the phone. One of my other DCX640s has a button that sticks, so I just ordered a second one of these. Its nice to have backward compatibility! Good job Uniden....more info

• Love this phone.
  I already have 2 Uniden phones and I have had no problems at all. I needed a 3rd phone for my bedroom because I was not able to see the caller ID screen. This phone has a big screen and I have no problems seeing who is calling even when I am half asleep. I also like the bright orange color when it lights up when a call is coming in....more info
