Customer Reviews:

  • What a waste
Be wary. Our expandable set of these phones worked fine, generally, for several months. The reception was "tinny", but not so much that we had a real problem with it. However, the echo got worse and worse, until we could no longer hear or be heard. After trying a different phone cord and trying the phone in a neighbor's house to see if we could identify the problem, we determined the phones are simply trash. More electronics in the landfills, alas. Phones should last many, many years, not many, many weeks. ...more info
  • Great transaction
Product was as advertised, service was fast. Would do business with this seller again in full confidence....more info
  • Good product
I bought this phone extension to complete my 21098GE3 phone.

The only thing that could be improved is the speaker, sometimes it makes some noises when turning it on.

Besides that, the phone and its features are excellent!....more info
  • Pretty Nice Phone
We have 4 of these, including the base set. The nicest feature is the intercom, where any phone can call any other like a cell phone when in the house. The biggest drawback is the quality of sound diminishes quickly when outside the house in the yard. Still, a pretty good phone for the money....more info
  • Just what I needed
This is a great phone system. Complete with speaker phone that works very well. Completely programable. In my case I couldn't find this handest in local stores and it is an addon to the original set that I have. I like them so much that I am contemplating adding another!...more info

  • cheap way to add another extention
It's a cheap way to add another extention if you already have the Base set of this type phone. It is a quality handset. Very little background noise, batteries last a couple of days between charging. I am very pleased. ...more info
  • Good phone at first but doesn't last long
We bought this phone as a set of 2 handsets with the base with digital message system and extra charger 3-4 years ago for around $60-70 (a good price for the set) and they worked fine for the first couple of years except the handsets would occasionally lose connection with the base. Then we started noticing that one of the handsets would run out of power with no warning (usually they beep when the batteries are low). Now, over just the last year, they've really gone downhill. The protective coating on the buttons has come off and the numbers are gone which is inconvenient when you need to see the letters to input information into automated systems, and lately the LCD display screens have started to go, a few pixels at first, but now with about half the pixels not showing up, which makes the display screens, especially the caller ID function, essentially unreadable. As one other reviewer said, phones should last for many years. I shouldn't have to replace them every 2-3 years, even at the relatively "low" price of $60-70. ...more info
  • The phones work perfectly...
I purchased the main unit and 1 headset from a discount store. Luckily I was able to find 2 more handsets on Amazon. They were shipped quickly and I love them!...more info
  • Home phone system
These handsets complement the RCA base station and provide conference calling as well as speaker phones in each of the major rooms in our home....more info
  • Very Pleased to find more handsets
I enjoy the model, and was glad to find more handsets! They give me great reception and ringtones are pleasant!...more info
  • Cheap. 1-minute setup. Easy.
I purchased two handsets from DigitalEtc at $5.99 each, which I couldn't believe. But they arrived in perfect new condition. These are nearly identical to the original handsets. However, the original ones let me retrieve messages from the base answering system. These extension models do not.

  • Expansion Headset
Pros: another handset without wiring a new jack and easy set up

Cons: 16 Hour battery charge before first use.

other than that it's a great buy!...more info
  • Quality Phones
The phones have extremely good range and several features. The price is excellent when compared to the quality of the product. I'm very pleased. If I had one complaint, it would be that you must program the handsets seperately. ...more info
